What does it cost?
Postage, packing and the applicable VAT is charged applying the following table of order values. This is the average cost of postal charges made to us.

Shipping charges for delivery will be automatically added to your order if ordering through our on-line shopping facility.

Please remember to add postage and packing costs to your order value if sending payment by mail.

Parcels are normally posted by first class letter post, or ParcelForce parcel post. For items which are required more urgently please ring for further details and options.

Where can I have my goods delivered?
You can choose to have your goods delivered to an alternative address to your home, if you wish. Please be aware that some parcels are bulky and will not fit through your letterbox, so it may be more convenient to have the delivery made to your place of work or to a friend, if no one is available at home to take delivery.

How long does it take to despatch my order?
We aim to despatch orders within 7 working days after the order has been placed, if the items are in stock. However, we are often able to despatch within 2-3 days. We carry an extensive range of items but occasionally items do go out of stock. If an item is out of stock and it is likely to take longer than 7 working days for it to be despatched to you, we will email or telephone you to inform you when your order will be sent.

What happens if something is damaged or missing?
If, on receiving your order you find that items are damaged or missing, then you must inform us in writing within 7 days of this fact. You should retain all packaging and evidence to back up your claim and be prepared to cooperate with our delivery agents to try and resolve the matter.

Returns

Items purchased by mailorder may be returned, providing they are returned within seven working days beginning the day after the date that the item is delivered. Items must be their original condition, unused, unwashed and in the original packaging. If they are not, we will not be able to issue you with any refund.

We will issue a full refund less any voucher value or discount that was applied to the order. You are responsible for the costs of original postage and packaging applied to the order and for charges for returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.

Your returns should be well packed and clearly labelled with the reason for the return, and sent back to:

It is your responsibility to obtain proof of postage as should a returned parcel become damaged or lost we do not compensate. You will be responsible for the cost of returning goods.

Please remember, proof of postage is not proof of delivery.

Faulty Product Returns
If you wish to return an item which is faulty, please contact Lady Sew and Sew with details of the fault, so that we can try and resolve the problem before you return it.

If the item is found to be faulty within 30 days of purchase, then we will refund you the cost of returning it to us, using the delivery method which you will be informed of. After 30 days you can return the item to us at your own expense.

When we receive the item back, we will inspect it for the fault you returned it for. If the item is not found to be faulty, then we will have to charge you the full cost of sending the item back to you. If the item is faulty we will send you a replacement at our cost or offer you a refund at our discretion.
